Sarah is Of Counsel to the firm. She focuses on deal-making, from procurement to execution, and business development. Sarah cut her teeth with a rap legend and launched her legal career at a prominent music law firm. She spends evenings scoping new talent in NYC, but is forever a Parisian.
Tim maintains a unique entertainment practice from one of the most unique cities in the world. He handles high-profile transactions as well as business affairs, corporate matters, acquisitions, and complex legal disputes. Tim is also heavily involved in industry organizations and policy and is a lecturer at Loyola University in New Orleans, where he lives.
Avery handles Legal Operations for the firm. Based in Chicago, she plays a key role in everything we do. Her music industry experience spans record labels, publishers, and touring the world fronting the esteemed indie rock band, Retirement Party. At night, Avery goes to law school and continues playing music live.
Max is Of Counsel at WELLS KAPPEL. He brings broad corporate expertise, including business formation and seed investment strategy, with an eye to early-stage entertainment, cannabis, and tech ventures. A lifelong “muso,” Max co-owns a prominent music management firm in New Orleans.
